Using this Sales Play, Apollo will:
  • Build a view of your TAM to identify ideal target companies
  • Automatically add decision-makers from those companies to a list
  • Launch a multi-step outreach sequence, including emails, calls, and LinkedIn touches
  • Use best-practice prompts and AI-generated content to improve response rates
Before you start:
  • AI Content Center: Make sure you’ve filled out the AI Content Center with your value proposition, customer pain points, etc. so Apollo’s AI can generate relevant outreach.
  • Meeting Link: Have your meeting link ready — either from Apollo Meetings or your preferred calendar tool.

How to launch this Sales Play

This Sales Play consists of three sequential prompts. Copy each into Apollo’s AI Assistant to complete the setup.

Step 1: TAM view builder

This prompt will create a total addressable market view, recommending filters to narrow your target companies. Approve or adjust the suggestions to finalize your TAM.

Using the full range of Apollo's account filters, build me a structured view of my Total Addressable Market in Accounts. Start by segmenting companies that align to my ICP across size, industry, and geography, and incorporate engagement or hiring signals if they are available. Make sure to remove any duplicates, exclude inactive or irrelevant accounts, and present the cleanest possible representation of my market and provide recommendations for additional filters.
Step 2: Save ICP leads to a list

Once your TAM is set, this prompt grabs your ideal decision makers, saves them into a weekly automated list, and keeps it updated with new leads.
