Based in Geneva, ALPARQ is a limited liability company incorporated under Swiss law providing aerial parks operated on a franchise basis. With this business model, ALPARQ Sàrl can offer members of its franchise network a wide array of products and services. Aerial parks are generally erected in forests, but can also be built in treeless settings by using wooden or steel poles. Both approaches (trees and poles) can also be combined. Aerial park courses are normally configured at heights of between 3 to 12 meters. This allows the visitor to move from one tree to another by means of aerial components such as steel cables, ropes, wooden strands, rope ladders or zip lines. Safety being paramount, the visitor is permanently connected to a steel-cable retention system that prevents any risk of falling.
