grüp is the best of 7cupsoftea and Talkspace but specifically designed for group therapy. grüp makes group therapy accessible anonymously through an app. It uses VoIP to recreate scheduled group sessions and features chat to help people stay connected. It empowers users to help others by providing training resources. Groups are small and deal with specific problems such as stress in a startup or substance abuse in ex-army officers. Furthermore, ⅔ of the American population that needs help but does not seek it because they are afraid. We plan to grow our user base and reach other universities and organizations whose employees have a history of mental trouble, such as the army which accounts for 24 suicides per day (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 2015).
