Founded in 2017, the Kopanya Institute is a social change organization based in Johannesburg and Cape Town that seeks to liberate hope, and inspire individual and collective responsibility, in societies that remain deeply divided by racism, sexism, socio-economic privilege, poverty and a multitude of other social justice wounds. Our passion is to provide tools and safe spaces for individuals, communities, and organizations to experience and re-define their humanity in new and life-giving ways.
