We focus on school readiness, financial stability, and connected community so that everyone can learn, grow, and live their best lives. Data highlights an unfortunate reality in Charlottesville: nearly 25% of the population lives in poverty, placing us near the bottom of localities across the US. Of even greater concern, Charlottesville's poverty rate has not measurably improved in 10 years.
