Spatula started off as a home-based cupcake business in August 2012. Through word of mouth and the power of online social media, the brand soon took off and the customer base grew exponentially within just a few months.In April 2013, Spatula moved to its first brick-and-mortar store, where it gradually increased the number of flavours offered and expanded the variety of aesthetically-pleasing confectionaries sold. In addition, themed dessert tables for special events such as weddings and birthdays were offered and received rather well by its growing clientele, including some local entertainment artistes.Over the last two years, we've shifted our business model slightly, and our core business now falls on weddings. We are proud to be one of the premier halal wedding cake boutiques in the city.
