We are a social enterprise comprised of tribeswomen weavers from Malaybalay, Bukidnon. We weave banig mats in indigenous traditional designs using soft sodsod grass. Our aim is to revive and promote our indigenous culture through weaving. Through the enterprise, we also aim to promote the livelihood of our tribeswomen, and for our young to take interest and continue banig weaving. Our mat designs are traditional designs we learned from our grandmothers and mothers. The designs symbolize nature or daily items in our indigenous life. The designs are woven in, not embroidered.
