MBS is a 5th generation business! Stan and Karmen, started farming in 1976, with their son Kyle and his wife, Kerri, joining the operation in 2005. The harvest of 2021 marked our 45th crop! Primarily producing corn, seed corn, and soybeans, we farm ground in both South Central Iowa and North Central Minnesota. We at MBS work together to identify and implement strategic plans to improve our delivery of services while ensuring we have the right infrastructure to support growth and expansion. Our vision statement of "Building a legacy through traditional family values" defines the purpose of our journey and provides the ground rules along the way. We believe that by doing our best on a daily basis and conducting business in an honest and open format will provide a foundation for the success of future generations. A specific business size is not our exact goal. Rather, using everyone's God-given talents to their fullest potential will allow MBS to continue, long into the future.
