American Marksman specializes in the de-militarization and recycling of ammunition and ammunition components. We partner with major manufacturers to assist in processing non-conforming loaded ammunition in an environmentally and economically responsible manner. We've developed processes to help companies capitalize on products that typically result in an economic loss.These processes allow us to provide high-quality reloading components and loaded ammunition to the public in various calibers, including 9mm, .223 REM, 5.56 NATO, and 7.62/.308, 300 AAC Blackout, and 50 BMG.We aim to supply civilian firearm enthusiasts and sportsmen with the highest quality ammunition and reloading components nationwide.We use state-of-the-art 360-degree lasers and eddy current inspection machines to qualify loaded ammunition from various manufacturers. This proprietary process enables us to check for Mil-Spec and SAAMI standards on loaded ammunition. Our team then runs non-conforming ammunition through our pull-down/de-mil process and separates the components. These components are inspected using the same state-of-the-art machinery, allowing us to return only the highest quality components to our customers.Since launching in 2014, American Marksman has contracted to de-militarize ammunition produced at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant (LCAAP) in Independence, Missouri. LCAAP is the largest provider of small-caliber ammunition for the U.S. Department of Defense.American Marksman has been the sole distributor of Stryker Ammunition (Searcy, AR) and Bullets 1st (Phoenix, AZ) since 2017.
