The New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) is a globally recognised unique identifier available to all Kiwi businesses. It helps businesses better connect and interact through a shared network of information. An NZBN makes it faster and easier to do business because it links to the core business information that organisations are most often asked to share with customers and suppliers – such as their trading name, phone number and email address. Future business innovations will be powered by the NZBN. One of the first of these is e-Invoicing, which will remove the need for manual handling of PDF, scanned and email invoices.
