With award winning office buildings, housing, culture buildings and city plans, A-lab has established itself among Norway's leading offices of architecture. A-lab's goal is to influence the urban environment through innovative and sustainable architecture with a strong identity.The main office situated in Oslo Norway was founded in 2000 by Geir Haaversen and Odd Klev, and now has a total of nine partners. The office consists of over 120 architects, urban planners, landscape architects, interior designers, tech workers and social scientists working to create the housing and workspaces of tomorrow as integrated parts of the big city web. International offices in Alvor Portugal, Silkeborg Denmark and Paris France. Major works are the Statoil regional and international offices (2012), the Barcode masterplan (in collaboration with MVRDV, Dark Architects and A-lab, 2003-2017) including three A-lab buildings (2009, 2014, 2016).
