SAS Users of New Zealand (SUNZ) is a national SAS user society established in 1980 with support from SAS New Zealand. The SUNZ brings SAS users and other analytical communities together to share knowledge and experience, promote best practices and encourage interactions between users from different industries in New Zealand.SUNZ engages with users and with communities effectively by organising annual conferences, workshops and other events every year. In recent years, SUNZ also actively engages with academic institutions by providing scholarship to support analytical research by university students.The purposes of the society are to:• Promote, in connection with the SAS software system and in the context of helping New Zealand build a world class analytics capability, the development and exchange between interested persons and groups of analytics knowledge, ideas, applications and techniques.• Do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposesSUNZ annual conference is the most significant event of the society. The past year conferences have been very well accepted by society members.
