(Associazione Direttori Albergo) è l'organismo italiano che da oltre settant'anni promuove il valore professionale della figura del direttore d'albergo, a livello nazionale ed internazionale.Il carattere professionale di A.D.A. le consente di sviluppare, sia all'interno della sua rete associativa che nel contesto esterno, relazioni sociali tese a valorizzare gli aspetti peculiari della società civile e della cultura dell'ospitalità, i valori della tradizione ed il progresso scientifico e tecnologico. Attraverso il Centro Studi Manageriali "Raffaello Gattuso", organo fondato nel 1975, l'Associazione promuove l'alta formazione e l'aggiornamento professionale continuo dei suoi soci, con l'obiettivo di potenziare la crescita culturale manageriale italiana nel settore alberghiero in aderenza ai mutamenti dell'economia globale e alle sempre nuove esigenze formative che ne derivano. Il C.S.M. organizza inoltre Convegni sui temi più attinenti la professione, anche per conto di Solidus, di cui è fondatrice, confederazione di oltre 65.000 professionisti di tutti i settori alberghieri.Tramite la Rivista Hotel Managers, raccoglie e divulga aggiornamenti normativi, esperienze di collaborazioni, testimonianze professionali, storia della professione.A.D.A. è impegnata in prima linea per il raggiungimento dei più alti standard di qualità in tutto il comparto alberghiero nazionale:del 2016 il protocollo d'intesa firmato con il MIUR in materia di alternanza scuola-lavoro, per offrire percorsi formativi solidi e professionalizzanti agli studenti degli Istituti Professionali del settore turistico alberghiero;del 2018 l'accordo di collaborazione con Interteck per la certificazione delle competenze della figura del General Manager d'albergo, secondo gli standard studiati da EHMA (European Hotel Manager Association).
