Mekorot is the national water company of Israel, government owned and listed at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The company works under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Water and the Ministry of Finance and accountable to the Water Authority. Mekorot was founded in 1937, before the establishment of the State. Since then, Mekorot have made a profound national contribution to realizing the vision and transforming it into a sustainable reality.
