The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is a government institution established in 2008 to accelerate economic development in Rwanda by fostering private sector growth. Operating under the Office of the President, RDB serves as a "One Stop Shop" for businesses and investments, aiming to position Rwanda as a competitive global hub for business, investment, and innovation.RDB provides a variety of services to support businesses throughout their journey. These include business and investment registration, visa facilitation, tax incentives management, and investment promotion. The organization also facilitates investment deal negotiations, supports the development of special economic zones, and promotes tourism alongside conservation efforts. Additionally, RDB focuses on enhancing skills within the private sector to improve competitiveness and ensure alignment with global standards. Through these initiatives, RDB plays a vital role in creating a favorable business environment and driving sustainable economic growth in Rwanda.
