Canadian-born freelance illustrator and designer, Chelsea Peters, discovered her love of drawing with her first pack of crayons. Famous for her elaborate drawings of unicorns in kindergarten, and her advanced art skills through elementary school, it wasn't long before she decided that art and design were going to be what she wanted to do when she grew up.In 2013, Chelsea graduated with high honours from Sheridan College with a Bachelor's of Illustration Degree, while winning the prestigious Silver Medalist's Award for highest overall grade point average in her program. She also earned an Art Fundamentals Certificate with high honours in 2008. Chelsea worked in local design agency settings for a number of years, acquiring real life experience before taking the entrepreneurial plunge into owning her own freelance business.Her passion for combining traditional techniques with digital media gives her work a fresh, whimsical look. Her imagination and obsession with line work and digital watercolour methods lend a carefree and spontaneous feel that have brought her clients' ideas to life.
