KidSport Alberta is a non-profit organization that believes no kid should be left on the sidelines. Alongside our 38 local chapters across the province, we provide support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sports. All kids should be given the opportunity to lead happy, healthy lifestyles; by supporting low-income kids from marginalized and undeserved groups, we provide opportunities they would not otherwise have.At KidSport, we believe sport changes lives. Participating in sport allows kids to learn life skills and improves academic performance. Most importantly, kids who are active in sports are healthier - physically and mentally.
