BioEthx™ is an organization dedicated to the promotion of standards and identification of best practices in the field of bioethics. Like quality compliance, bioethics requires rigorous analysis of how to ensure that each patient is afforded a voice in clinical decisions affecting their life and medical decisions that impact their future. Unlike quality compliance, standards are only implemented by individual organizations, and an assessment of best practices that looks at a broader experience and outcomes is difficult. At BioEthx we want to promote this dialog though our online forum, BioEthx Cafe. We seek the input of bioethicists to share and evolve our existing suite of software tools to help digitize the analysis and engagement in a bioethics dilemma, while making it simple to document findings and protocols used.
