In March,1958,the 2nd Construction Project Company directly affiliated to Construction Industry Department was established in the northwest of our nation(the predecessor of China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co.,Ltd, referred to as CNI22 hereinafter). From the end of 1950s till now, CNI22 has gained great success in nuclear power construction, industrial and civil construction.CNI22 is not only a key state-owned company, but also an investment institution and asset management unit authorized and approved by the State Council. Founded in March 1958,CNI22 took part in the construction of China's first nuclear power plant, its main businesses now is nuclear power projects , civil projects construction, and the import and export of goods and technology. The registered capital of CNI22 is $ 30,150,000,and the existing assets now is $ 363 million. By 2011,The production value was $ 1.13 billion, including the import and export of goods and technology, whose output value was U.S. $ 100 million. During the past 50 years, CNI22 has completed more than 2000 construction and installation works, and the total construction area was over 2 million m2. Our company has undertaken a large number of construction works of power plants, factories, housing, airports, bridges, roads etc, and for the good quality of our projects and technology innovation, CNI22 is awarded more than 80 national and provincial and municipal prizes, including the construction engineering "Luban Prize". CNI22 have offices in 39 countries, and we still have Projects under construction in Algeria, Sudan, Pakistan, Mongolia, Vietnam and East Timor.
