For example, the vehicle mass of a typical LRT averages over 800+ kg per seat vs Trellis at 30-40 kg per seat. And LRTs spend more time travelling their rails partially empty during off-peak periods throughout the day and evening than they do carrying large passenger loads during peak periods.
