The Serenity Project is a volunteer-based program aimed at recruiting womxn from at-risk communities. Womxn in The Serenity Project have strong passions and stories that make them representatives of their various communities. Womxn in the past have come from struggling and traumatic backgrounds including those of foster care, domestic abuse, acid attack survivors, etc. The idea behind The Serenity Project is that womxn with these experiences and backgrounds deserve to be celebrated for their perseverance, and invested in for their future.
