Vancouver Drydock is located on Vancouver Harbour's North Shore. The facility features a Panamax drydock with 36,000 tonnes lift capacity and a floating drydock with 30,000 tonnes lift capacity, a 210 m deepwater pier of 10.5 m depth, a 1,740 sqm machine shop, a 21,000 sqft. steel forming shop, and two 40-tonne overhead cranes and is one of the three Seaspan Shipyards on Canada's West Coast. All Seaspan shipyards have an unmatched reputation for quality performance, customer service, reliability, technical expertise, efficiency, and the highest health, safety, and environmental standards. An endless variety of vessels, among them cruise ships, tankers, Ro-Ro's, bulkers, Naval and Coast Guard vessels, research and specialty vessels, ferries, tugs, barges, fishing vessels, and yachts regularly call on Seaspan yards for maintenance, repair, refits and conversions.
