The Oakville Yacht Squadron is a family oriented, non-profit organization whose objective is to foster and advance the sport of sailing in and around the Greater Toronto Area.Our club is located on the west side of 16 Mile Creek in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. We have many active sailing programs including a sailing school for youth and adults. We've supported youth and Corinthian sailors on the world stage, sending our members to attend Olympic and World Championships alike.In addition to advancing the sport of sailing, our club has a vibrant social community steeped in a culture of self-help and volunteer activities. Our members celebrate the joy of being on (or near) the water with events ranging from BBQ dinners to organized reciprocal cruises throughout the summer season. Our fleets leave the docks every Tuesday and Thursday for club racing and are always looking for crew.
