In fact she is not even human. Edna is Asheville royalty or at least she thinks she is. Edna is a Pug of the canine persuasion.What does a Pug named Edna have to do with coffee? Well, it seems Edna has a sophisticated palette for the brown brew. When she was a young pup, she sheepishly snuck a mighty lap full of her owner's iced coffee on more than a few occasions. The caffeine-induced "Pug Gymnastics" resulted in a permanent ban on Edna's coffee consumption!It was only fitting to bestow the honor of naming the coffee house after Edna.Keep a sharp eye out for her. Edna does make appearances in royal attire.Freshly roasted coffee, in-house baked pastry and bagels and excellent food and beverage selections you have come to love!
