STRiVE is a 501c(3) impact organization that provides community based services and supports for persons with developmental or intellectual disabilities and related support services.We promote, within caring environments, opportunities that nurture personal growth, improve self esteem, support community inclusion, and advance the independence of those served. Strive serves approximately 780 people from birth through senior citizens with a full continuum of services customized to meet needs and assist  each person in living as independently as possible. The agency operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, employing approximately 380 people.

* Boone Supported Living (BSL) provides assistance to people with developmental disabilities in need of support to be able to live successfully in their own homes in the community* BSL focuses on working with people with severe behavior disorders* The company provides a wide array of specialists:--- RN Consultant--- Counselor--- "ABA-trained Staff Training" consultant--- Nonviolent physical crisis intervention instructor--- CPR and First Aid instructors on staff--- All staff are trained in CPR, FIrst Aid, Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention, Abuse/Neglect training, Positive Supports, Quality Outcomes, Medication Administration, and other regular trainings as determined are needed by DMH and the company's treatment team. Of course families are encouraged to attend as wel.

Community Living:At Woodhaven, home is not just a place to sleep at night. It is a refuge of comfort and a reflection of individuality. The adults we serve live in more than 40 traditional and accessible homes and apartments scattered across Mid-Missouri. Our Community Living program provides support and assistance so that individuals served can live independent fulfilling lives as active members of the community they love. Community Connections:Weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm, we help adults with development disabilities who do not work during the day get involved with volunteering opportunities and activities throughout the community. They build their skills, access local events and explore new places while developing relationships with their fellow community members. Through our Community Connections program, the adults we support aid Woodhaven in working towards dramatically changing the public perception of people with developmental disabilities.
