In 1969 Chet Gibson began working as a dispatcher with the George Igel Company; twenty-five years later he started Capital City Crane Rental. We feel that anyone can supply you a crane and labor, but what stands us apart from other crane rental companies are the employees.Our crane rental division owns and operates over 150 cranes from 2.2 ton up to 900 ton. Crane types include: Industrial Cranes, Rough Terrain Cranes, Boom Trucks, Hydraulic Truck Cranes, All-Terrain Cranes, Telescopic Crawler Cranes, Crawler Cranes, Self-Erecting Tower Cranes, and Tower Cranes. Our Alimak rental hoists are construction elevators primarily used by Contractors and Power Plants. Our fleet of Potain self-erecting tower cranes are used in congested sites with limited access. Our Heavy Hauling division use XL Specialized trailers and sell new trailers.
