Buxus is a web based application provided either as a service (ASP license) or as a server software (Enterprise license). More than 100 web sites are currently managed by Buxus. ui42 was founded in 1997 by graduate computer science and artifficial inteligence students after finishing their study placements across universities and research institutes in Britain, Austria and Slovakia. ui42 team was one of the first that pioneered internet and web technologies (including web content management) in Slovakia and Czech republic. From 2010, the company runs the usability lab for testing internet and mobile sites and applications. ui42 is based in Bratislava, Slovakia (Europe) and is a privately-held company.
