OEM manufacturing & design of structural inflatables in any shape.shapewave industries BV is a Netherlands based startup developing and deploying shapewave wavemaker bonding robots for OEM production of shapewave parts.Our unique, patented technology comprises a method for allocating and bonding of internal webbing to inflatable parts. Shapewave parts can have thousands of pieces of webbing, each with unique length, between the top and bottom membrane of an inflatable part. Once inflated, the parts assume a precisely predictable shape.Shapewave parts are light, stiff and rugged and can be inflated to well over 1bar - similar in stiffness and smoothness as dropstich inflatables, yet with a a functional shape and much lower weight and packed down volume. Available in a wide variation of membrane and webbing materials, shapewave parts can be used in wings, hulls, canoes, surfboards, kites, and many other products. A 10' ISUP board can be made under 5kg and will pack down in a grocery bag.We are planning to have the first complete tool chain of our proprietary WAM (Webbing Allocation Module) software and shapewave wavemaker01 up and running early 2024, and start manufacturing of our wavemakers to ramp up our manufacturing capacity inside shapwave farms.
