Vocalogy is an innovative business that incorporates #AppliedNeuroscience, #JinShin #energyhealing and concepts from #ClinicalHypnotherapy in our #voicelessons, which we use alongside #SomaticVoicework vocal pedagogy. The result- quick and holistic resolution of voice projects.Our first innovation is integrating Jin Shin energy healing, a complementary wellness method, into voice teaching. Voice projects such as singing off-pitch, tight throat etc. are a result of the disruption to the flow of energy throughout the body. These disruptions have a mental, emotional and physical impact that extend past the voice. Holistic resolution is obtained by holding one's fingers.Our second innovation looks at voice projects from the perspective of the nervous system. The voice is a portal into the health of the nervous system. Vocal exercises stimulate the improvement of the brain's sensory processing in order to facilitate holistic improvement. We've been doing things differently for 16 years and counting. Our students have won international competitions, performing in Winners' Recitals in Carnegie Hall. They've also been offered places in prestigious performing arts schools such as the Royal Academy of Music and Berklee College of Music.We dare to dream
