VSA originally emerged as a global network for all students to unite through a common appreciation for the Vietnamese culture. The organisation aims to preserve and promote the Vietnamese Australian identity and provide Vietnamese youths with a place where they can learn about their culture and heritage. VSA VIC is part of an international Network of VSA's around the world, sharing the same culture that internationally govern the globally accepted ideals of the Australian-Vietnamese Students' Association.
