Vertical Path Aviation was founded by Dave Richardson to bring state-of-the-art online training to the aviation industry.With over 2,400 hours of flight instruction under his belt, Dave specializes in technically advanced aircraft transition training and advanced Garmin avionics training.Dave worked at Textron Aviation from 2012-2016, flying and teaching in all Cessna and Beechcraft piston products as well as the Caravan. While at Textron Aviation, Dave led development of the Pilot Training Department's TTx Transition Course.Currently, Dave flies a Cessna Citation M2 for a corporate operator and teaches with Vertical Path Aviation. Dave and his wife Sam live in Tucson, Arizona with their dog and cat.Dave's credentials include a bachelor's degree in Flight Education from the University of North Dakota, a certificate in Aviation Safety Management Systems from the University of Southern California, and FAA flight instructor/airline transport pilot certificates.
