VITAEM LLC, The Element of Life —Due to earth's ever-growing population, many have unfortunately been unable to receive affordable and accessible medical care. For example, in 2010 alone, an overwhelming 50 million Americans were uninsured. Access to health care services, particularly in rural and frontier communities or disadvantaged urban centers, have been often very limited. This contributes to the widening health and wealth gap prevalent in the U.S. and the world, leading to the degradation of a global economy and people.Here at VITAEM, we hope to address this commonplace in society through the use of current 3D printing technologies. Founded in Freehold, New Jersey in 2016, VITAEM LLC is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of 3D printing innovation. 3D Printing is a more viable, economical, environmentally friendly, and politically conscious alternative to current methods of industrial manufacturing. To that end, VITAEM LLC. has developed a novel 3D printed transradial prosthetic which will revolutionize medical care.
