Coming from the UK, we tend to be alittle bit shrewder, realising there is more beer in the Glass if served a little flatter! I don'tthink that is the reason for the way beer is served up in Britain, but I quite like the notion.Remember Agincourt….the English have long since forgiven the French and live as relativelygood neighbours. But it was at Agincourt that the French cut off 2 Fingers of the longbowsmen to prevent them from drawing back the arrow on the bow. Which legend has it, iswhere the insult comes from as the English bows men flicked their fingers at the French, toshow them that they still had all their lethal digits.
