The Wooden Canal Boat Society is a UK charitable company setup to preserve, restore and maintain wooden canal boats of various types for the benefit of the public, to advance the education of the public in the history, construction and operation of wooden canal boats and to put them to work in the 21st century as Wellbeing boats for anyone that needs some relief from mental ill-health, stress-related ill-health, or any other need to just spend some time being calm and enjoying the peaceful environment of Britain's inland waterways.
