TLZPS is a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to the protection, and exhibition of parrots and their habitats.MissionThe Landing Zone Parrot Sanctuary is a non-profit California corporation which rescues and provides for parrots as well as works to educate the public on the importance of preserving parrots for the future as their numbers are quickly diminishing, through elimination of their natural habitats and almost equally through the North American pet trade.Company OverviewTLZPS started publicly accepting needy parrots in February 2010 and was incorporated and approved as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization in May 2012.date TLZPS has provided a permanent home for thirty-three previously homed parrots accepted from Zoos, Breeders, private owners and the US Fish and Wildlife Services.
