TLED works with Tanzanian entrepreneurs and business owners to ensure they can overcome barriers and grow sustainable businesses. The project aims to deliver core business skills and advisory services to 1760 enterprises; generating income growth and 2500 jobs in the communities where it operates. Since technological development is an essential growth tool, the TLED project also granted funds to modernise 91 enterprises, paving the way for them to access new markets. Paying particular attention to the additional challenges faced by female entrepreneurs, TLED operates in Iringa, Njombe, Lindi, Mtwara, Mwanza and Shinyanga. The project operates within agricultural and extractive value chains, enhancing the delivery of market-driven and gender responsive business strategies.TLED is managed by VSO and Cuso International and it is funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
