#StandUp4CleanUp or Stand Up, is a grassroots movement coordinated and made possible by the community and it's most dedicated to it's advancement and values such as inclusiveness and environmental stewardship.Our goal is to not only clean up trash but invasive species, bad & stagnating attitudes and our waterways, we also want to help educate members of the community on sustainable shift and a new way to make an impact. To inspire and uplift members of the community through participation and empowerment. Actively seeking to unite the community in Duty, Love and Activism.We want Thunder Bay, among with other places around the world rich in natural beauty, culture and biodiversity to see their full potential realized, we feel that Thunder Bay's citizens have the opportunity to lead the way or by example as one would say.We also wish to encourage "green habits" like recycling, car pooling, cycling, composting and disposing of rubbish in a bin, to pushing for a green shift in everything from industry to economics. A non-profit community organization aimed at attacking inequality & human impact through inclusion and the reclamation of our wild lands and waters. We advocate for social and environmental justice.. with the redesign of culture based around sustainability, inclusiveness, and environmental adaptations, collective sovereignty and to encourage actively building on like minded community partnerships to form a cooperative effort. We are always looking to expand upon community efforts and bridge gaps, form partnerships and bring on new minds to this movement.
