In 2013, the former South Georgia College and former Waycross College merged to create what is now SGSC. Beautiful historic location in Southeast Georgia. Both campuses have facilities which are home to the SGSC Hawks athletic teams. The intercollegiate athletics program has a rich heritage in both Douglas and Waycross, drawing athletes from throughout Georgia as well as other states and countries.
