Howdy!My name is Meagan Elyse McElya and I am the owner/founder of Simply Photography by Meagan. I grew up in Angleton, Texas, a small town located just south of Houston about 30 minutes from the Gulf. At the age of 15 I was gifted my very first Canon and started my photography journey, shooting a mix of portraits and events. In December of 2010 I decided to start treating my photography as more than just a hobby, and that is when the business was born. Today I live in Plantersville, Texas and most of my time is spent as a rodeo photographer on the weekends, but I will occasionally offer portrait sessions depending on availability. I am an avid traveler, passionate about modern agriculture, and have an immense appreciation for the western lifestyle, so you will see a reflection of that while navigating my portfolio.
