We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.OUR PURPOSE:Scouts Aotearoa empower youth through adventurous experiences to lead lives that make a positive difference.OUR VISION:Our vision is that in 2025, more than 25,000 youth will enjoy scouting adventures. They will come from every background with a place for all, shape their own experiences and make a positive difference for New Zealand. To achieve this vision, Scouts will focus on five key priorities identified in the Better Prepared Strategic plan – youth at the centre, inclusive growth, quality relevant programmes, prepared volunteers and organisational strength.ACCREDITATIONS:The Scout Association of Aotearoa New Zealand has been certified as meeting the requirements of the Global Support Assessment Tool Towards Quality Scouting, demonstrating compliance with Best Practice requirements related to the following 10 dimensions: NSO-WOSM Institutional Requirements, Governance Framework (Constitution, General Assembly and National Board), Strategic Framework, Integrity Management, Communication Advocacy and Public Image, Adults in Scouting, Resources Allocations and Financial Controls, Youth Programme, Growth Potential and Continuous Improvement.
