Save Our Scene UK C.I.C is a Community Interest Company (Social Enterprise) based in Mansfield Nottinghamshire. Save Our Scene UK was formed after the Closure of the Town Mill Public House in Mansfield, which was also the town centres main music venue.Due to the economic climate the UK's venues and public houses are closing throughout the UK, leaving our current and new generations of musicians with less and less places to showcase their talent. The music industry in general has taken a massive financial blow with independent and larger music retailers closing their door throughout the UK. Save Our Scene UK aims to regenerate the local arts community as well as encorporating the UK to provide employment and training for both local and UK hospitality, media and musicians.
