SALOMONE SANSONE is a family firm, the origins of which date back to 1947 when the Hon. Walter Salomone set up his practice in the field of intellectual property consultancy. Assisted by his son Albert W. Salomone who succeeded him in 1973 and re-named the firm A.W. Salomone & Co., during the 1990s it was further re-styled and re-named Salomone, Sansone & Co. Since 2008, it is headed by Albert`s grandson Dr. Luigi A. Sansone. The practice, now named SALOMONE SANSONE, is operated from premises situated in Valletta, Malta`s historic capital city and a world heritage site, housing both the law courts as well as the office of the Comptroller of Industrial Property.
