Rupert Spira is an international author, speaker and teacher of non-duality. From an early age he was deeply interested in the nature of reality and the source of lasting peace and happiness. At the age of seventeen he learnt to meditate, and began a twenty-year period of study and practice in the classical tradition of Advaita Vedanta. Since then Rupert has spent the last forty-five years studying and practising the philosophy and methods of many of the world's great religious and spiritual traditions, particularly Sufism, Mystical Christianity and the Tantric tradition of Kashmir Shaivism. Some of the teachers he learned from are Dr. Francis Roles, Shantananda Saraswati, P.D.Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Rumi, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, Robert Adams, Francis Lucille, Atmanada Krishnamenon and Jean Klein.For the past twelve years Rupert has been distilling this wisdom into a simple, easy path to feel inner peace and happiness every moment of every day.Rupert holds regular retreats online and in-person across Europe and the US, as well as hosting weekly webinars. Rupert is the author of nine books, with his most recent book, You Are The Happiness You Seek, published in 2022.
