The user research community is currently in a state of flux due to a spate of layoffs, particularly in the tech sector. The impact of these layoffs has been strongly felt by the Indian UXR community. We believe that this is the right time for us to come together as a community, reflect, take a step back, and learn or unlearn whatever is necessary to move forward as a discipline in a new and energized way.It is with this intent, that we are putting together an online event that is spread over 3 evenings - May 3rd to 5th 2023, 6-9 pm IST.Through this event, we plan to bring together the Indian user research community to engage with and listen to experts and thought leaders from a variety of disciplines (research, product management and design), different geographies, and from varied roles (independent practitioners, research agencies, CXOs, CEO's, academicians, etc.)The conference will include panel discussions, presentations, and workshops centred around our theme.Our hope is that this 3-day event will provide some provocations and food for thought, which will renew and recharge us for what lies ahead."
