The Robotics Club is a group created in 2002 by graduate students of the Robotics Group in Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of University of Patras.The aim was to enable students to learn about and get involved with cutting edge technologies such as robotics, automation, programming etc.Today, the club has several members and is located in the department of Mechanical Engineering. Most of the members are undergraduate students on the departments of Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering. The club is supported scientifically and financially by the Robotics Group of the department led by professor N. Aspragathos.In the Robotics Club we have designed and constructed several small and medium sized mobile robots and robotic manipulators.
