Rise Up specifically targets the drivers of GBV and focusses on prevention programs for Gender Based Violence. We address drivers of GBV such as poverty, HIV/AIDS, Addiction, Displacement, Mental illness, Sexual Orientation and Dependency. We currently operate in four provinces, North West, KZN, Gauteng and Western Cape. We focus on urban areas, highly populated informal settlements, townships and we have programmes we run with the homeless living in the big metros.We have targeted programmes we run with the youth to sensitise them to GBV and how to prevent it.We are committed to ending GBV in our society and need your help to end this scourge.
