Simply put, we identify tradable patterns that will quickly and quietly execute based on two immutable fundamentals, nature and human fallibility.No surprise that our proprietary trading strategies borrow heavily from sophisticated weather forecasting algorithms that have applicability to financial markets. The unanticipated storm that we see, and trade, just before it becomes obvious to everyone else that it's time to come indoors to wait out the storm.We search for these violent weather patterns by combing through petabytes of financial data amongst global financial markets that can be reliably predicted and traded at scale.Much of the opportunity to trade these strategies has been created through the legacy anthropogenic market distortions over the last fifteen years of excess liquidity. These man made market distortions - human fallibility - create boundless opportunities to trade the reversions to the norm - nature. Our approach can be compared to HFT models but with parameters that fix risk for slightly longer durations with commensurately greater returns - think minutes rather than milliseconds. Also think better for longer rather than lower for longer.An easier way to think about this may be to consider us energy traders who have figured out a way to arbitrage natural energy and anthropogenic energy - anthropogenic energy defined as government policy, government regulation, and central bank interventions.
