Our mission is to cultivate a coalition of aware and active leaders that will use their knowledge to impact our future; not only on a state level, but also on a global scale by bringing local relevance to the national and global community.The Spencer Frye Fellowship provides an ongoing opportunity for students to actively see their impact in local and state politics. Fellows work on one of two teams: legislative and public relations. The legislative team supports Rep. Frye's priorities through researching current legislation, other solutions and drafting bill memos. The public relations team is responsible for social media on all platforms, curating content for the radio show, sending out a newsletter to constituents and producing content for the blog. Both teams come together for professional development and to give back to the local community through volunteer work. The Fellowship Program usually accepts around 25 students each year who are given the opportunity to grow as young professionals and leaders.
