Positive Mentors Inc., a non-profit organization has been established to guide, support, advocate and provide role modeling to our future generation. We provide services to at-risk youth.Positive Mentors Inc. Mentoring Program is not the average mentoring program. We are unique! What sets us apart from other mentoring programs are our guidelines that include mentoring at-risk youth. We also offer a "no waiting list" policy, which means you would never have to wait to be matched up with a mentor! We know how URGENT and important it is to have a Positive Mentor in your life. Positive Mentors strive to help people in need of positive influences. Mentors who have been through rough times can share and guide mentees out of negative paths that include incarceration, violence, drugs ect. or even prevent it from happening to them. When people do not have Positive Mentors, by default Negative ones usually find us.Positive Mentors Inc. Nutrition Program - In an effort to eliminate obesity targeting at-risk youth in Milwaukee. Positive Mentors Inc. Truancy Program provides reliable transportation for children to attend school. Adults who cannot find reliable transportation to and from work can benefit from the program as well.Positive Mentors Inc., Tutoring program is to help improve the academic achievement of students. Through increasing their knowledge and skills, school attendance, and time devoted to schoolwork by providing additional, special, or remedial academic instruction and guidance.
