At Planet Smilez, we give every child their own oral health passport. Each child is provided with the educational foundation of healthy oral hygiene practices through the distribution of a simple toothbrush in order for them to foster healthy lifestyles through adulthood. Our first mission trip was was to Ojo de Agua, Salcedo, Dominican Republic in February 2014 with pediatric dentist, Dr. Deborah Pilla. There were ninety children between the ages of two through twelve years old from nearby surrounding villages.
